The Gateshead Housing Company Management Development Programme

The Gateshead Housing Company are a non-profit organisation responsible for the day-to-day management of over 21,000 homes. The company's 300 employees make an important and significant contribution towards the development of sustainable and cohesive community in Gateshead.

Our involvement involved designing and managing a learning and development programme for 65 managers. We used this experience to develop a Level 3 qualification that met the needs of the organisation. The learning modules included:

• Applying the Values of The Gateshead Housing Company
• Managing Performance
• Building Cohesive and Sustainable Communities
• Building an Enterprising and Creative Organisation

Over 90% of managers were successful in gaining a Level 3 qualification titled The Gateshead Housing Company Management Development Award.This programme has been nominated for the 2010 CIPD Award.
